At Bambelou, toy safety is something we take seriously. Toys sold in the UK and EU are required to meet CE marking standards, including EN71 (covering mechanical, flammability, and chemical safety).

Our approach: we work with suppliers who confirm their products meet these standards, and we're building out our documentation records as we grow. Age Grading & Warnings

Age recommendations are shown on every product page to help you choose the right toy. Please also check any safety warnings included on the product packaging when it arrives.

Materials

We prioritise non-toxic materials — natural wood, BPA-free plastics, and child-safe fabrics — and select suppliers with these standards in mind.

Contact us at hello@bambelou.me and we'll respond within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. If a genuine safety issue is identified with any product, we will act promptly, which may include removing the product from sale and contacting affected customers directly.
